The MLT program was extremely challenging, and there were many times I doubted myself and my ability to keep going especially while dealing with the heartbreak of losing my dad and the many trials and tribulations that followed. But even in the hardest moments, I had amazing support from my family, friends, peers and professors who constantly reminded me not to give up. Reaching the end goal and becoming a License Medical Laboratory Technician was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I’m beyond thankful for the journey and the people who helped me through it. Thank you, Mrs. Carla, Mrs. Haley, and all the staff at JSCC you truly made a difference in my life.

I wouldn’t be the nurse I am now if it weren’t for the nursing program at jscc. My teachers, from every semester I had are literally like family. My last semester was tough, my mom had recently passed away and I honestly wanted to quit, however the compassion support, and love I was shown during that time by the professors helped me finish and pass nursing school. Yes the program is tough, yes it challenges you in more ways than one, but they let you know you’re not alone. They prepare you for the real worldof nursing, guiding you, and giving encouragement. I’ll always speak highly of the JSCC nursing program. They aren’t just my professors, but they’re definitely family.
